Spring is on its way, the days are getting longer and nature is awakening from sleep. This piece is inspired by the excitement of the fusion of colours that will appear in my garden over the next 6 months.
Free machine embroidery and quilting fuses together printed fabric and felt creating a background upon which 5 flowers plus daisy flowers sit. The 5 large flowers sit proud whilst the daisy flowers are scattered over the panel. The colour medley consists of orange, yellow, purple, blue, green and white. Hand stitching scatters over the lower section of the piece in green, purple and white. Machine stitching occupies the lower panel creating a quilted effect
The panel is presented in a glazed wooden frame 14 x 14 inches. The panel itself is 9.5 x 9.5 inches. Hanging hook is already attached to the frame. The piece can be presented without the glass if required.
Delivery is via Royal Mail and between 2 – 3 days.
