Description
This is a greeting card with my Pink Dolly Dress image from my Snow Queen Series of Prints. Blank inside for your own message and hand stamped on the back.
Size: 10.5 x 15 cm (4 x 6 inches approx.)
Printed on Somerset Enhanced Velvet Paper, Cotton Rag, Archival Quality Paper, using a Professional Inkjet (also known as Giclée) Printer with HP Pigment Inks. Pigment ink is known for its archival qualities and fade resistance. This is the same high quality paper I use for my prints.
Archival Quality - What does this mean?
Images fade over time. Printing artwork on archival quality paper helps preserve the colours and prevents the inks from degrading and breaking down. Archival quality pigment inks are fade resistant and when kept in optimum conditions are said to last for up to 100 years.
Will come with a high quality lined envelope.

Inspiration
The inspiration for the snow queen series of prints came from my favourite fairytale - The Snow Queen. I loved it as a child and I still love it now. These prints are from my own original photographs of various objects frozen in ice, exploring the idea of frozen moments in time, how we 'freeze' ourselves to numb the pain and the symbolism of freezing and ice.
