Bark
Description
This piece investigates the surface of tree bark, developed using digital imagery and additional material manipulation using pen and stitch. The piece is also made 3D by the development of layer separation.
Inspiration
I was inspired to develop this piece as the surface interested me and I wanted to represent the patterns and textures.
The frame dimensions are 160mm square, 50mm deep and artwork dimensions are 125mm square.
