I was given a whole load of proper, no-nonsense, honest-to-goodness vintage fabric and haberdashery gear a wee while ago - see this for details..

After many a while deliberating what to do with it all, I fuelled my obsession with roses by making more of the bloomin' things....

These three grips are a longer length than usual, a good 5cms long so they'll stay where they're put. The roses are made from bias binding and backed with wee bits of complimentary vintage fabric. The flowers themselves are around 1.7cms across with the larger patterned one coming in at about 2.5cms, all securely fastened for those moments when you might get a little more 'tousled' than you were expecting ;)
