As you can see in the pictures, Olivia has eleven decorations including six flowers and five discs strung along a length of the cocoa coloured yarn. They are approx 7cm (3.5 inches) in diameter.
The length of this garland between the first and last motif is approx 150cm (59 inches) and I have allowed an extra 40cm (16 inces) of yarn at each end for hanging your lovely garland.
Colours include - rose, cocoa, aqua and oatmeal.
As with all my handmade garlands I have added a signature embroidered flower label and a signature crochet flower swing tag that includes care instructions. Due to their handmade nature these will vary between each piece, therefore the tags on your garland may differ slightly from the one pictured above.
Garland - 36% silk, 36% cotton and 28% viscose.
Garland care - gentle handwash, press out excess water, re-shape whilst damp and dry flat, do not tumble dry.
Please note...
- this garland is not a toy and is not suitable for children of any age to play with, please hang it out of the reach of little fingers!
- do not hang this garland near open flames such as across your mantlepiece or near candles - safety first!
Inspiration
Olivia is one of my hand crochet flower garlands, made by me (Emma Lamb) in my wee Edinburgh studio. I have used a gorgeous recycled yarn created from salvaged clothes that have been shredded, carded and re-spun into a beautifully tweedy looking yarn in the prettiest rustic colours.
She has a simple rustic elegance and would be perfect for adding a touch of understated colour to a bare wall and would look fabulous hung in your window where the light would highlight her pretty crocheted flower shapes. If you are lucky enough to live in an old cottage with beautiful wooden beams and stone fireplaces, Olivia and all her cottage chic charm would love to join you!
