Here is a little wooden box decorated with images of vintage postcards and chintzy decorative paper, and fragments of an old script. The inside of the box is decorated with pretty roses paper and an image of a postcard to Daisy Matthews. Underneath is decorated with dove grey floral paper. The box has been varnished for protection and would make a lovely and unusual gift.

It is suitable for treasures, jewellery and ephemera.

I found the postcards in an antique shop and loved the simple writing and the charming message. I used this to create a nostalgic little box with a feel of that time and I found the charming picture of a young woman with flowers to go on the top.
