Diyad's are made using origami paper folding techniques to create beautiful, one of a kind pieces of jewellery. They consist of 42 individually folded modular pieces, lovingly crafted to create intricately detailed shapes.

Made from recycled and reclaimed materials each individual piece is unique and lovingly hand crafted, coated in a layer of matt varnish to create a durable piece of jewellery without losing the quality of the paper.

Measuring approximately 7cm x 7cm x 1.5cm with silver-plated findings, this Diyard was created using a map of the world.

As a child Katie was fascinated by books, stories and papers, and during her time at University this interest developed into a passion. Katie graduated in 2011 with a BA(Hons) in Decorative Arts, specialising in paper manipulation, and continues to create unique pieces of wearable art using found books and papers.
