Delicate hand faceted pyrite beads have been combined with oxidised silver and 18 ct gold details.
The small sparkly pyrite beads have a lovely metalic weight and fluid drape to them, I have added some small faceted silver beads and made one little 18ct gold one. I have also made a lightweight little sterling toggle clasp, and added a handmade chunky little silver and 18ct gold heart tag.
These beads are very difficult to photograph effectively, they are a matt grey, but sparkle with gold flashes, a very fine ellegant bracelet.
I was enjoying playing on the idea that pyrite is also known as fools gold, adding some genuine gold to pick out the gold tones of the stone.
The pyrite beads are approx 3 - 3.5 mm diameter. The bracelet measures 19 cm - 7.5inches , but can be made any length you need.
Hallmarked at the London assay office.
