COVERS
Cream leather with beautiful Ostrich Leg spine. Leather thonging to hold pages shows at head and tail. Lined with handmade Momigami paper.

PAPER
Bockingford watercolour paper, interspersed with yellow and purple Fabriano. The cream paper is 190gsm suitable for dry-point, watercolour, pen, pencil, charcoal and pastel. The Fabriano is suitable for pastel, charcoal and pencil.

FORMAT
I designed this book to have removeable pages so you don't feel intimidated imagining you will spoil the book!
It has six sections of 5 folios each, making 30 folios, 60 leaves or 120 pages.
There is a pocket at the back with 9 square sheets of extra paper. Useful for dobbing paint onto to test colours.

PAGES
These are unstitched folios held in with leather thonging. This means you can draw in landscape format and replace the pages when your book is full.

SIZE
16 x 16 x 4 cm OR 6 x 6 x 2 inches approx.

Please note that all my books are handmade by me and as such will have the look and feel of a crafted item and will not have the high mechanical finish of a machine-made object.

There may well be small imperfections which add to the charm of the book. However, I do try to make the books carefully so they are as beautiful as possible.

I like to try out new combinations of constructions and bindings as well as using the more traditional structures.
