Here is a little wooden box decorated with images of vintage angels, and fragments of an old postcard. The inside of the box is decorated with pretty blue and white paper and the postcard to Miss Maud Critchley. Underneath, there is a genuine vintage map segment. The box has been varnished for protection and would make a lovely and unusual gift.

It is suitable for treasures, jewellery and ephemera.

I found the postcard in an antique shop and loved the simple writing and the charming birthday message. It is date 1914. I used this to create a nostalgic little box with a feel of that time and I found the charming picture of two little girls dressed as angels with their recorders to go on the top.
