As a lace knitter myself I know how invaluable stitch markers can be......so I made some. I like my markers to be a pretty as my knits so I had a good look through the bead boxes to come up with something bright.

These are made using a tonal acrylic bead & glass beads and gold plated metal beads. There is one large one ideal for marking knitting in the round.
I've used complementing colour coated tiger tail wire and a gold clamp so they will slip effortlessly from one needle to another. Will fit up to a 5.5mm needle.

I have tested these and they work just fine. On a locking hoop to keep them safe when you're not using them. Nice little treat for yourself or the knitter you know!
