ABC Childs Quilt
Description
This childs quilt is not only lovely to look at but educational as well. Each letter is accompanied by an animal or an object, eg A is for apple. The colours are appropriate for a little girl or a little boy. I have hand appliqued and quilted all the letters and in the background there are lots of star shapes that are also hand quilted.
The measurements are 58 inches X 47 inches
148 cm X 121 cm
This quilt is very easy to care for just put in washing machine at 40 degrees and hang to dry,
do not iron as this will flatten it.
Inspiration
I think this is a lovely way to eduacate children as they are growing up, with every-day things that they see all the time. A parent can make a bedtime game of this quilt. I had all of the fabric in these lovely colours and I love to applique with different shapes and colours so it just evolved.
