To make this striking picture I cut up peices of thick black paper into flower and leaf shapes. I then glued them onto textured card , adding mother-of-pearl effect sequins to give it some sparkle , and to enhance the sophisticated effect of the black and white design. I have mounted the picture in silvery card and put it in a frameless clip frame (with glass, rather than plastic) which measures 21cm wide by 30cm tall .
