Original Mixed Media Cool Contemporary Avant Garde Collage Abstract Art Boats
Description
This is an original collage using paper which I have printed and coloured myself, cut and placed on an acrylic multi-layered painted background. The piece measures 14 x 10 inches. The background has been created using a 'frottage' print techique and onto this I have collaged pared down, simplified shapes which are made from my own printed papers. This is a simple, clean lined, balanced, abstract composition which would enhance any modern, or more traditional interior.
Inspiration
A lot of my work features boats and the sea. This piece is an abstract work which is based on the shape of boats, taken from those which bob in the harbour near where I live. You can see them tied together lilting on the ripples.
