Pretty vintage lace has been used to cover a wooden heart shape. Vintage mother-of pearl buttons are fixed around the front edge and a gathered vintage lace around the back edge. An ivory satin ribbon bow at the top and vintage pink and green flower motif at the bottom gives it the finishing touch.

Inspiration
I wanted to create a small wedding gift which could be kept and used as a reminder of the special day. Hearts and lace seemed to be appropriate and I have made use of some of my hoard of vintage lace and buttons to create a uniquely designed keepsake
