In Classical times black onyx was engraved with the image of Mars or Hercules as an icon of courage. A stone with strong grounding properties, many believe that it will assist the wearer to be more assertive, especially with those in authority. It is also used for relieving nightmares and for protection after dark, both in the home and when travelling.

All my bracelets are my own original designs. The stones are strung on strong, stretchy elastic, you can have any size you like. I made this one in men's standard size, about 8 inches unstretched. It comes in a lovely organza drawstring gift pouch delivered by first class post.
