Item details

This contemporary handcrafted sterling silver ring can be worn by anyone. It is special enough to be a wedding ring, but could be worn every day or for no reason at all, just because it's lovely! I made it by cutting the correct size silver sheet, shaping, soldering, filing and hammering. Finally it was given a hand sanding and then was tumbled with stainless steel shot and polishing compound. This final stage ensures a high shine and also work hardens the silver.

This ring is a UK size W or US size 11.5. It is 7cm wide, but could be made in any ring size and any width. Please state your requirements in the message box of the checkout.

Your ring will arrive gift packaged in a pretty purple pouch.

I love the way that the light shines from the facets that hammered silver produces. It can be made into almost any item of jewellery you wish, but the hammering is what makes it in the end. And i get to vent my pent up feelings too!!!
