Inspiration

I am fascinated with reuse and upcycling. I found that charity shops had large supplies of beautiful silk ties and wanted to design jewellery that reused them so that they could be worn again but in a different form. All the fontaineBleau jewellery pieces are made from these beautiful silk ties and are often one-of-a-kind pieces or only one of a very few similar pieces. I use fresh water pearls and antique gold effect findings and chain to finish each piece.
