Description
A wall mounted dresser made from American white oak with painted and distressed pine back boards. This was a design that I drew up for our family kitchin and we are really pleased with the outcome. I have finished the oak in Danish Oil and the pine back boards with Fowler and Ball's "Skimming Stone" paint.

Inspiration
Need is the mother of invention, and my inspiration for making this was my family's need for more kitchin shelf space. I love oak and this American White Oak matched our kitchin units perfectly. I have incorporated some smooth curves into the top board and the bottom rail. I enjoyed shaping those on the band saw and the spoke shave.
