Stained Glass Mosaic Candle Stand, Blue Stained Glass
Description
A pretty little stained glass mosaic candle coaster, this time in a gorgeous sky blue stained glass. Perfect as a special treat for yourself, it would also be lovely as a little gift for a friend or loved one on a birthday or other special occasion.
This particular coaster uses a beautiful sky blue stained glass attached to recycled window glass. Once the glue has dried the edges were smoothed off and the grout applied. A couple of days later, once the grout had dried properly the edges were neatened and each coaster was given a couple of coats of grout sealer to protect them from staining and to waterproof them. Lastly little rubber bump feet are added to the bottom to protect your surfaces. They measure approximately 7.5cm x 7.5cm.

Inspiration
As a stained glass artist I've accumulated quite a collection of glass off cuts which is too pretty to throw away. But what to do with it? One of the uses I decided on was mosaics and so I will be introducing a range of coasters and candle holders to my shop.
