This little chap is all ready for dinner in his penguin suit & sparkly bow tie. He's about 10.5 cm tall & will sit nicely on a dresser or window sill. He's all stitched with no sharp pieces, but his buttons are very small so he's not suitable as a toy.

I've just inherited my Mum's knitting patterns - lots of laughs about the groovy 1960s & 70s clothes, but what is so brilliant is that I found her stack of toy patterns from Womens Weekly (going back about 45 years). I knitted the basic undressed original pattern for this little chap back in the 70s for a few of my school & college friends. I've dressed him in his penguin suit by adding the bow tie, buttons & cummerbund.
