Felt pincushion ring
Description
A must for anyone that does anything with tiny sharp things! Whether it's sewing, needlework or just pinning a hem up before using some iron-on webbing, a pin cushion really does have its place.
These ring pin cushions are made using felt which is hand-stitched. A felt base is applied with glue for strength and the cushion is wrapped in cotton. The main part of the pin cushion is 4cm tall by 3.5 cm wide. It is set on an antique gold colour adjustable ring.
These rings make a fabulous little gift for special women in your life, so go on, treat her. (Or yourself!)

Inspiration
After dropping pins all over the place, I realised that perhaps pin cushions had their place - I always thought they were rather fuddy-duddy! So I set about finding a nice little one that would take up minimal room in my 1x2m craft area! I came across a ring pincushion on Pinterest in cotton which gave me that idea, and my husband had given me a felting set last Christmas - and so the felt pincushion was born!
