A keepsake book for your journaling, sketching, scrapbooking and notes. It’s uniqueness makes it an ideal gift or perhaps a ‘Wedding Guest ‘book.

Created by me, with a little help from my sewing machine! . I start by creating a background of dyes, shimmery inks and stamped images.I then layer vintage fabrics, sari silk and image (this focal image is printed on to fabric as well)on to the base .All pieces are stitched together, and then sprayed with a matte sealer. Embellishments ( including a lovely selection of vintage, Mother of Pearl buttons) are then added and everything attached firmly to the book front.
I have also tied a selection of seam binding and a strip of printed muslin to the binding.

The book has thick, hard back covers and contains 36 pages of 150gsm (heavyweight) unlined off-white cartridge paper, therefore suitable for watercolours too. It is wiro (spiral) bound.
SIZE: LARGE square , 8.1/4" x 8 1/4" .

COLOUR: A lovely shimmery blend of green,pink, cream and gold. The hardback front cover is covered with gold-spritzed,moss green mulberry paper.
