A luxury journal, original 'Honesty' linocut design hand-printed on exquisite handmade Moriki Kozo paper in a limited edition of 20.
120 leaves (240 pages) of 100 gsm smooth white recycled paper sections are hand-sewn and then perfect bound into this hardback journal with Moriki Kozo handmade paper and plum quarter bookcloth binding.
Beautifully crafted, this journal makes an ideal luxury gift for those special occasions and would make an elegant Guest Book for weddings and celebrations. Perfect as a special present, it is a sketchbook, diary or travel journal to treasure.
Dimensions: slightly larger than A5 (15.5cm x 21.5cm)
There will only ever be 20 journals hand-printed using my original 'Honesty' linocut on this colour Moriki Kozo handmade paper.
Each journal is stamped, numbered, signed and dated on the first page as shown above and comes in its own presentation box with matching hand-printed gift-tag.
Inspiration
Honesty seedheads are simply the perfect blend of art in nature, I wanted to capture something of the delicate elegance they bring to any garden.
I love all handmade Japanese Washi and this colour of the Moriki Kozo in particular - I am glad that I had the chance to use it for my 'Honesty' linocut for these journals.
