Hedi Kyle's Blizzard Binding is ideal for this little Christmas photo album with slipcase. This detailed tutorial has clear instructions, extra information pages and full-size templates.

The album itself would make a lovely present and can easily be personalised.

The book has removeable pages and stands up so you can display your photos for all to see. It takes advantage of a very springy spine section which holds the pages open. To keep the book closed for storage, I have designed a matching slipcase.

The slipcase measures 9.5 x 9 x 3 cm
OR 3.75 x 3.5 x 1.1 inches (approx).
The album will accommodate 16 square photos of 8 x 8 cm
OR 3 x 3 inches (approx).

It is an ideal size to display anywhere whether it be shelf, mantelpiece, sideboard or windowsill and the slipcase will protect it during storage.

Although making the album requires a degree of skill in cutting, folding and glueing, anyone used to crafting carefully would be able to make one - or more. Once you get the hang of it, you won't want to stop at one!
