This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted and unique.
This year I have made a new special range of 6 different designs of Love Heart suncatchers.
This is Heart 06, named Bricks (for obvious reasons I think). I have used some lovely types of the textured bright red glass I bought in especially to make these hearts. I have also used some pretty pink and some iridescent white streaky glass and am really pleased with the result.
It is 4 inches high and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart.
It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and colours of glass give it movement and sparkle as it catches the light.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. This will make a wonderful present especially for a birthday or Easter but also at any time for someone you love.
