This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted and unique.
This year I have made a new special range of 6 different designs of Love Heart suncatchers.
This is Heart 03 which is named Mouse (it looked a bit like one when I took its photo). I have used some lovely types of textured bright red glass I bought in especially to make these hearts. This one also has gorgeous very textured inidescent clear glass as well as iridescent white streaky pieces. These shine in different colours.
I am really pleased with this design. It is 4 inches high and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart.
It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and colours of glass give it movement and sparkle as it catches the light.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. This will make a wonderful present especially for Easter, a birthday but also at any time for someone you love.
