3 Hand knitted fluffy decorations - lilac & white
Description
Hand knitted bauble style Christmas decorations. These are supplied as a pack of three but can be supplied individually if required.
Presently available in this pale lilac & white ‘fluffy’ textured wool, making them much more interesting than normal tree baubles.
They have the added bonus that if they get knocked off by young children, or pets, there won’t be any dangerous shards of glass, as being knitted & stuffed they are unbreakable & will even take being played with by both children & pets!
The baubles measure approximately 10cm across. Its actually larger than this but I don’t measure the fluffy yarns end to end, as they obvioulsy will get a bit flattened in the post. Just re fluff before hanging!
Inspiration
I started making little items suitable for my brothers children as the risk of injury from glass ornaments had prevented them having a tree in previous christmases, so I decided to make some items that were perfectly safe from little fingers, & boisterous play!
Having made some tiny mittens, hats, sweaters & stockings, I decided to play with other decoration styles. These being one of my favourites. Simple baubles, which are safe enough to play with, my dogs love them & have stolen the odd one or 2 before I could put them safely away, & they play for hours batting them about! I now make smoother versions for them to play with to keep these away from them!
