Mandarin & May Chung Soy Wax Votive Candle made with essential oils
Description
I chose to make this votive candle with beautiful creamy soy wax which is processed from soy bean oil. I wanted to create a candle which was Eco friendly and fresh and uplifting.
I used a mix of Mandarin and May Chung essential oils, mandarin which calms and relaxes and May Chung which lifts the spirit and clears dark clouds of depression, anxiety and fear.
I wanted to keep the candle plain as the colour of soy wax is deep, velvet and ivory in colour, the candle will burn for approx 20 hours and has been finished with orange polka paper and jute. All easily recyclable,

Inspiration
I wanted to make a candle which was perfectly natural. I love working with soy wax and love how it is healthier for us our family's and our environment but is also a renewable source that encourages trade by farming.
I decided to make the candle with essential oils to keep in the theme of being 'all natural.'
