The jingle of ice cubes in a jug of iced water is a comforting sound on a hot summer day when the mercury keeps rising. Keep it in your fridge and because it's ceramic it'll stay chilled until your guests are ready to serve.

Hand thrown on my pottery wheel with British stoneware clay this jug features a tall stout shape, a sturdy pulled handle and a generous pouring lip to provide a steady flow. The glaze has a rich glossy finish and is glazed in shades of navy blue. The bottom section of the jug remains unglazed so you can feel the sandy texture of the clay.

It's flat bottom will sit firmly on your table and it has been hand stamped with the Little Wren Pottery seal marking it out as a handcrafted jug.

This jug can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
