A large decorative felt heart.

I made the lovely soft blue felt myself out of an old 100% wool jumper, this heart is made using one of the well-shrunk sleeves.

I spent a lot of time on this piece and it's truly one-of-a-kind with an embroidered plant inspired pattern on it in blue and green embroidery threads, I'm calling the design 'Frond' as I had lovely curled-up ferns in mind when I did it.

It also features a bow in a dotty grey ribbon at the bottom and a loop to hang it made using the same ribbon, there's a button to the front and back, plus my new 'hearts and crafts' label on the reverse.

The heart is 12 inches long and with the ribbon, 16 inches.

Would look lovely on a doorhandle, wall or mantelpiece (away from the fire!).
