Description
Based on the Pearly Kings and Queens of London this series combines old London sayings and traditional pearly patterns. Henry Croft was the original Pearly King - an orphan street sweeper, he collected buttons that he found on his rounds and stitched them onto his suit. He would go out in his pearly suit and collect money to give to the orphanage in Somerstown where he had grown up.
20p from the sale of this card will be donated to a children's charity in London.
