Description
The Jock Scott is a fully dressed Salmon Fly, invented in 1850 by Mr John (Jock) Scott. It was widely used throughout Scotland and elsewhere for Atlantic Salmon fly fishing.
This signed print is from an original watercolour painting by UK artist & illustrator Maria Gonzalez. The print is digitally produced on Archival matte paper using Epson UltraChrome pigment inks, designed to be lightfast for up to 80 years. Approximately 10" x 8" in size.
Please note: This print comes unframed and unmounted. It will be wrapped in acid-free tissue and a protective plastic sleeve and will be packed flat in a card-backed envelope.

Inspiration
My husband is a keen Fly Fisherman, so last year I painted a watercolour painting of a Hare's Ear Nymph fly for his birthday. I had wonderful feedback from everyone who saw the painting, and this inspired me to paint a further eleven Flies and my latest series of Fish, all of which I now sell as signed prints and greetings cards.
