I originally knitted Janeway's uniform for a fan who already has a giant Captain Kirk Meerkat and wanted to be able to transform him into Janeway - and so I needed to make her hair as a wig. It's not everyone who can go to work on knitting a trekkie wig for a meerkat!! You can see from the final photo that Kate Mulgrew, the actress who played Janeway, approved.
Yours, however, will be sewn in place. I you'd prefer her later bob style please ask.
Katherine's uniform is removable. Her grey "under shirt" is in fact a dickie, just a collar and chest piece which fastens at the back of the neck.

Not suitable for small children, knitted to order.
