Handmade Mosaic wall plaque, incorporating fish, starfish and crab.
Great for a bathroom, or any room; also suitable for outdoor use.
The base is a solid white durable material, that is happily at home in damp conditions and will not take on moisture like many mdf or wooden bases. The edges of the plaque have been neatly bevelled to give it a smart finish.
Made with a mixture of stained glass and vitreous glass, some of which is irridescent, each piece has been hand cut and placed with tweezers.
I have used black grout on the water and fish area of the mosaic, as this really makes the colours pop, and a softer mid grey on the 'sandy' section which helps to add to the sea bed effect, and shows up the crab details. The 'water' is a mix of aqua and mid to dark blue glass with gold coloured streaks.

A keyhole shaped hanger has been routered on the reverse so it is ready to hang on a screw.

All my mosaics are designed by me and made with care. Some can take hours but often days to complete.

As with all glass products, take care when handling and/or cleaning. Not suitable for children.
