Black book clock
Description
Dare you buy this clock?
This rather funereal and doom-laden clock is made from a copy of 'A Time to Die' by Wilbur Smith. The black metal hands sweep portentously over the black hardback cover, ticking those seconds away...
I've got to admit that I love this clock. The book itself just called out to be turned into a timepiece and I couldn't resist!
A fully functioning quartz clock mechanism is concealed within the book.
- Clock dimensions: appx 7in x 4in x 2in (12m x 10cm x 3cm).
- One year manufacturer's warranty included.
- Freestanding and can be opened and closed like a normal book.
The book clock makes a wonderful and unusual gift for book lovers, lovers of geekery or just someone who needs a clock!
The clock is created by carefully cutting a hole into the pages, inserting the clock mechanism, and then piercing the front of the book to fit the hands. The book clock stands easily on any flat surface. It can be opened and closed like any normal book.
The book is a secondhand item, and therefore it is not in perfect condition but shows some small signs of wear.
The book clock runs on one AA battery, which is not included.
