I painted this following an amazing climbing trip to Chamonix.

One our days off from climbing, we hiked up to Lac Blanc, a beautiful lake that over looks the Mt Blanc Massif. Being so British, and hating to queue we sacked off the cable car that would have taken us up over 1500m of the hike and decided to walk from the very bottom.

The view at the top however, and the crystal clear water to paddle in was more than enough to make up for the blood sweat and tears of walking up ski slopes in the blazing sun.

This painting is of one my fondest moments so far.

I hope who ever buys it gets as much enjoyment from it, as I did both hiking up there and painting it.
