The Striped Purse
Description
Approx. size 18x15cm. A unique and cool stripy purse with khaki green zip. Front pattern consists of beige and teal coloured stripes, with small images of caterpillar turning into a butterfly repeated along each strip. Bottom of purse is lined with crochet detail and the back is plain brown. The inside is also lined with the same brown fabric that is used to make the back. Hand made with love! Great for keeping little items in your handbag together, coins, make up, cards- you name it! And perfect as gifts to others (or yourselves) :)
Inspiration
I loved the fabric pattern and knew straight away that I wanted to make something good out of it. As I love purses and bags, I decided that it would look cute as a small purse with a little feminine detail, hence the crochet style lace along the bottom of the purse. I really like green and teal colours together as it reminds me of nature so I decided to compliment the colour of the fabric with a nice khaki coloured zip. I loved the finished product so much that I have also made one for myself!
