From our surfing shape range we have this solid hand crafted bath board.

Unlike most of our surfing range this board isn't a single piece. With the nature of water and steam from baths, one single piece would be more prone to wrap. We make this top out of 4 pieces with the grain alternated and the joints strengthened to help prevent the timber from wrapping. We also seal the timber with extra coats of a finish thats a natural water repellent.

The board shown in the picture is over size for the bath used to model. Baths come in different sizes so we make each board custom to your size of bath. There will be no or little over hang so it can't be knocked and there are blocks under the board to prevent it from falling into the bath. These blocks are held on with screws so you can adjust the blocks if you wish to use the board with another bath. The screws are stainless steal so will not rust.

The thickness of these boards are around 21mm and depth around 200mm. the depth may change slightly with different width bath boards to keep the overall shape.

The timber used is America White Oak which is sustainability sourced.

A customer asked us to design and produce a bath board in a style they couldn't find anywhere else.

This is one product we don't produce from a single length. Due to the nature of hot steamy bath water, we decided this product would be more stable if crafted from lengths to ensure the least change it will warp.
