Painted French Grey Coffee Table
Description
Here's Angelique, the latest sleek and chic offering from faded grey! She's all sophisticated in a beautiful chalky french linen grey, her curves accentuated with a pale creamy stripe around the edges. There was no need to accentuate the carved wood with distressing or sanding, I think it speaks for itself! Her legs are waxed and buffed to a soft sheen, while her tabletop has been given two coats of specialist flat matt decorators vernish for extra durability. After all, looks are everything.
A beautiful, strong and sophisticated table with great proportions, Monique doesn't like to give away her measurements, so I'll just whisper them to you.... she stands 42cm high, 68cm wide and 136cm long.

Inspiration
Thanks for visiting Faded Grey! We hope you like what you see. Upcycling furniture really floats our boat. We pick pieces for their quality and quirkiness and treat them with lashings of love, care and affection. We put them through their paces with sanding, priming, at least a couple of coats of paint, and finish with both clear and dark wax, or occasionally a matt clear varnish for extra durability. Some are sleek and glossy, others get distressed around the edges - each piece is unique but is given a great big furniture cuddle and sent on it's way with a spring in it's step and a smile on it's face. Happy days.
