Hand knitted cushion cover - straw
Description
This lovely and chunky cushion cover is made with pure wool. We used a simple cable knit pattern to achieve that country look.
It has button fastening at the bottom and we used wooden buttons in similar colour.
It is hand wash only, water temp. up to 30 degrees. Dry flat.

Inspiration
The inspiration for this cushion was my childhood memory of summer in Poland and harvests in August. The colour is exactly what I remember our wheat and oat fields used to look like in the hot summer day. When I look at it I can almost smell the straw and the dust we experienced while helping our parents during harvesting. This one is very special for me. I do not knit (I crochet) but I ordered the wool and sent it to my mum (who is knitting Obi-Wan) and asked her to make it for me, just so she can get some extra cash in her retirement). I hope you like it too.
