Superwash merino yarn in Summer Fields colourway.
100g 3ply yarn in shades of green, yellow and golden brown. (approx 200m)
Double knitting weight, suitable for a variety of uses.
Recommended needle size:
3.5-4.5mm (metric)
5-7 (U.S.)
Two of the photos show a recently completed scarf knitted with my dk weight yarns - this creates a dense knit - extremely cosy. The scarf pictured was knitted in ordinary merino wool - not superwash. Superwash would result in a softer, smoother finish with a hint of sheen.
Inspiration
A stroll on a midsummers evening, faithful dog at my heels. The summer breeze catches and snatches at the tall meadow grasses. Shafts of evening sunlight glint in shades of gold, shadows deepening. An anxious deer startles, clears the wall and is gone, swallowed into it's woodland hideaway...
