Fusion printed leather buttons Fable M07-004D
Description
(Set of 3) I made these buttons working from adapted designs and fusion printing them onto the surface on a natural vegetable tanned leather. They measure 33mm in diameter and can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Look great on knitwear, hats, brooches or bags. The buttons have been hand finished and have a protective coat of carnauba cream.
Inspiration
I love buttons and when I came to work at the Identity Store and saw the how the printing worked and how fine the detail it could give I had the idea of trying it out. I got very carried away and have about 20 different patterns done now. I am currently working on some smaller buttons but they are a lot more fiddly.
