Embroidered Brooch - Red Daisies
Description
Cheerful, red daisies have been hand-embroidered onto the hand-knitted background of this pretty brooch.
The background for this brooch has been hand knitted in a pure wool yarn, fulled (or felted) for a closer texture, and basted to a thick wool fabric. The daisies have been stitched in pure wool and merino blend yarns. The design has been framed by a border of couching over a brick red yarn.
The back of the brooch has been neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
Height: 6 cm approx.
Items of embroidered jewelry may not be entirely colourfast and care should be taken that jewellery items do not get wet in use in case colour should be transferred to items of clothing.
