Fabric covered handbag mirror Flowers
Description
Who doesn't need a handy little mirror from time to time? This is one of a series of fabric covered mirrors I have made using pretty cotton fabrics encased in a protective plastic film.
The mirrors measure 55mm across and each comes in a stripy cotton drawstring bag.
They make inexpensive yet thoughtful gifts.
Inspiration
There is an independent fabric shop near where I live which sells the most wonderful fabrics. It is a quilter's paradise and I have often thought of taking up sewing again, just to browse through all those lovely fat quarters of gorgeous printed cottons.
When I had the idea of making handbag mirrors my dreams came true. Now I can browse to my heart's content buying scraps of fabric in all sorts of patterns and colours.
