The late Billy Fury (Ronald Wycherley) was a huge pop star in Britain in the very early 1960s, and almost had The Beatles as his backing band at one point! His beautiful face and delicate demeanour have always fascinated me, and one of my favourite songs of his is 'Wondrous Place'. In this portrait I have given him angel wings.
