Inspiration
I love making images of birds and they feature in a lot of my prints.
Cyanotypes are fun to make, using hand cut or torn stencils, bits of lace, flowers, feathers, and leaves and exposing chemically treated watercolour paper to the sun or other ultraviolet light. The exposed parts turn blue, from a beautiful intense blue to palest grey blue depending on exposure time. It is then fixed in water. different every time so each piece is unique.
