Bullrush Art Bookmark or Door Name Plaque

These beautiful bookmarks make a great gift on their own or as a little extra to go with the matching cards (also available in my shop).
Using a magnifying lamp to get the tiny detail, the letters and designs are drawn with fine point architect pens and then coloured and shaded in pencil. I then print onto high quality ivory or cream linen effect card. These are then laminated and finished off with jute twine (you can order without the jute for the name plaques..... Please specify when ordering.)

All names are in upper case. (Don’t forget to double check the spelling!)

Inspiration
When I first started designing the Bullrush Art Cards, my theme was taken from the things I liked, and that was the love of nature and anything with my names on! Maybe this theme was in my head, dating back to when I was a child. My Family and I used to visit my grandparents house in East Dereham Norfolk, where there was a large natural dew pond in the garden. This pond was full of sticklebacks, newts, frogs, water boatmen, snails etc. The edges of the pond were surrounded by bullrushes. So when I first started designing the cards, this was my theme, and also resulted in the name of the company, Bullrush Art.
After a fantastic and surprising response from friends and family, I decided to start working on a catalogue of names. I now have 100's and am continually working on more. I will make any name in any spelling you require.
