Hand-Built Pram Dinghy
Description
Lovely pram dinghy suitable for use on fresh or salt water (weather permitting!).
7'11" x 4'. Made from marine ply with glass and epoxy reinforced seams. Sapele and ash gunwhales, sapele thwarts and knees. All the exposed woodwork is oiled for ease of maintenance. Flotation tanks fore and aft so if the boat capsizes it will not sink. These little boats will last for decades if looked after. Supplied with oars, rowlocks and thimble-spliced painter on a S/S eyebolt. Can be painted to the colour of the customer's choice. Please note I need 1 MONTH NOTICE as each boat is built individually for the customer. Inspiration
I am a professional boat-builder based in Dorset. Having fallen into a rock-pool at the age of 18 months I developed a strong affinity with things that float! I mainly build and restore old working craft but these little pram dinghies are a fun and easy way to get afloat!
