Pastel drawing
Description
Based on images of my own (now deceased) beautiful boy Jonty, this pastel drawing shows a typical Papillon dog. With his oversize butterfly ears and alert expression, He is quite the character! The drawing is done with soft pastels on black paper and measures approx 21x19cm. It is set in a cream mount with an oval cut-out (landscape).
Inspiration
I wanted to increase the drawings I have available and as I'm always on the look out for subject material, I decided to use photos of my dear little dog Jonty, who passed away three years ago. He was such a happy chap and very typical of the Papillon breed.
